We are born with this artistic tilt, we can’t shake it, we want to feed it. We feed it reality, fantasy and imagination. The hard part is learning how to properly use the tools needed to create the object of art. I like blending the real with the abstract, meaning each venture is a trip into the unknown. I deal with the materials and the tools before me and see what comes of it. I enjoy using the figure as a vehicle, the basis for my art. It’s a provocative subject that elicits comments both positive and negative. It keeps a dialog going between the viewer and myself.
